Indian Railway - Railway Recruitment Board(RRB) :

  Indian Railways (IR) is India's national railway system operated by the Ministry of Railways. It manages the fourth-largest railway network in the world by size, with 121,407 kilometres (75,439 mi) of total track over a 67,368-kilometre (41,861 mi) route.Forty nine percent of the routes are electrified with 25 KV AC electric traction while thirty three percent of them are double or multi-tracked. IR runs more than 13,000 passenger trains daily, on both long-distance and suburban routes, from 7,349 stations across India. The trains have a five-digit numbering system. Mail or express trains, the most common types, run at an average speed of 50.6 kilometres per hour

B. Category II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
1 Electrical & Electronics Engineering - 40 posts
2 Mechanical Engineering - 80 posts
Total - 120 postsAge Limit :Age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules.Salary :A. Category – I Graduate Apprentices:- Rs.4984/- Stipend per month
B. Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:- Rs.3542/- Stipend per monthEducation Qualification :A. Category – I Graduate Apprentices:-
1. A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline, in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
2. A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline.
3. Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.

B. Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:-
1. A Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
2. A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline.
3. A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.Apply Mode :ONLINEHow to Apply :For students who have already enrolled in the National Web Portal and having login details:
Please note : After verification of student enrolment by BOAT (SR), a student can able to login and apply
Step 1:
a. Login
b. Click Establishment Request Menu
c. Click Find Establishment
d. Upload Resume
e. Choose Establishment name
f. Type Integral Coach Factory and search
g. Click apply
h. Click apply again.

For students who have not so far enrolled in the National Web Portal:
Step 1:
a. Go to www.mhrdnats.gov.in
b. Click Enroll
c. Complete the application form
d. A unique Enrolment Number for each student will be generated.
Note: Please wait for atleast one day for enrollment verification and approval. After this student can proceed to Step 2.

Step 2 :
a. Login
b. Click Establishment Request Menu
c. Click Find Establishment
d. Upload Resume
e. Choose Establishment name
f. Type Integral Coach Factory and search
g. Click apply
h. Click apply again
Note :1. The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year as per Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.
2. Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.Job Location :chennai
