Indian Air Force(IAF) :

  The Indian Air Force(IAF)is the air defense of the Indian armed forces.The personnel and aircraft assets of IAF ranked 4th place amongst the airforces of the world. The primary mission of IAF is to secure Indian airspace and to conduct aerial warfare during armed conflict.Established on 8 October 1932 as an auxiliary air force of the British Empire which honored India's aviation service during World War II with the prefix Royal. After India got independence from the UK in 1947, the name Royal Indian Air Force was kept and served in the name of Dominion of India. After Republic in 1950, the prefix Royal was removed after only three years.

FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT PHYSICAL FITNESS DETAILS, Please refer the official Notification attached belowVacancy Details :Airmen in Group Y (Non-Technical) {Indian Air Force (Security) [IAF(S)]} TradeAge Limit :Candidates born between 14 July 1998 and 26 June 2002 (both days inclusive) are eligible to appear in the Recruitment Rally.Education Qualification :Candidate should have passed Intermediate / 10 + 2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Note - 1: Education Boards listed in Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) website as members, shall only be permitted.
