Aavin :

  The Dairy Development Department was started in Tamil Nadu in 1958 to regulate milk distribution. It took over control of the milk cooperatives. It was replaced by the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Limited in 1981. On February 1, 1981, the commercial activities were given over to Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers' Federation Limited under the trademark 'aavin'. Tamil Nadu is one of the leading states of milk production with 14.5 million litres per day.

1) SSLC/Xth std pass
2) Must possess ITI in the trade of Electrician with National Trade certificate and lineman /wireman B license(or) Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and C license.

2. Technician (Operation)
1) Pass in SSLC with ITI certificate in the trade of Refrigeration & Air conditioning/Fitter/Dairy Mechanic/Electrician/Wirema n/instrumentation with NTC or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical and Electronics/ instrumentation and control engineering.

3. Technician (Refrigeration)
1) Pass in SSLC or its equivalent.
2) ITI certificate in Refrigeration & Air conditioner Mechanic with NTC (or) Diploma in mechanical engineering.

4. Technician (Boiler)
1) pass in VIIIth std
